In the Tamar & Vince episode “Becky with the Good Hair,” (that’s about this, btw) while Tamar Braxton battles an itchy scalp, she also finds time to plan a trip to Cabo. But the couple’s marital problems follow them to Mexico and according to WEtv “Vince storms out of dinner, and Tamar is left feeling alone.” There is some comic relief. Vince takes his friend Benzino to go grocery shopping at an organic health food store. Benzino says it’s cool that Vince is eating better but he’s not fooled, he knows Vince is still eating macaroni and cheese.
Benzino (born Raymond Scott in Boston) is known for launching the hip hop magazine The Source in 1988. He was a member of the rap groups The Almighty RSO and Made Men before joining the cast of Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta in 2012. Benzino is also known for feuding with Eminem — who Benzino once called “2003 Vanilla Ice” — and for being shot in the shoulder and back by his nephew at his mother’s funeral in 2014. Benzino also did time at Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars. Tamar & Vince airs Thursdays at 9pm on WE.
