In the Young Sheldon episode “A Therapist, a Comic Book and a Breakfast Sausage,” Sheldon (Iain Armitage) becomes fearful of solid foods after choking on a breakfast sausage. So his parents take him to see a therapist (his mom found a coupon in the Penny Saver). He gives his teacher Ms. MacElroy a note for his absence. The good news is while waiting in the doctor’s office, Sheldon discovers comic books.
