On the Bull episode “The Devil, The Detail,” Bull (Michael Weatherly) is working for the parents of man who committed suicide during a drug trial. He was an employee of the drug company that the parents are now suing. In court, Bull faces his rival, trial scientist Arti Cander who is working with the drug company. “She’ll do anything to win,” Bull says. “She reminds me of me.” And yes, she just might be better than Bull.
Dr. Arti Cander is portrayed by Emmy Award winner Archie Panjabi. Americans recognize the British-born actress from her roles on Blindspot (Nas Kamal), The Good Wife (Kalinda Sharma), and in the films San Andreas (Serena Johnson), The Constant Gardener (Ghita Pearson), and Bend It Like Beckham (Pinky Bhamra), among others. Bull airs Tuesdays at 9pm on CBS, right after NCIS, and right before NCIS: New Orleans.
