The Hallmark Channel movie The Sweetest Christmas is about a pretty pastry chef named Kylie Watson (Lacey Chabert, Mean Girls). News of Kylie making it to the finals of the American Gingerbread Competition couldn’t have come at a better time – she’s been struggling with her new café. Problems arise when her oven breaks down right before the contest. She asks her ex-boyfriend from culinary school Nick (Lea Coco, Queen Sugar) if she can use his family’s pizzeria oven. Of course he says yes, and while reminiscing old sparks fly.
Not so fast Nick! Kylie has another ex-boyfriend, Alex (Lance Edwards, Riverdale) in hot pursuit and he “takes drastic steps to win her back.” All of this romance and drama is sprinkled with Christmas spirit. The Sweetest Christmas premieres on Hallmark Channel on Saturday, November 11 at 8pm.
