It’s Halloween weekend. If you’re bored with watching It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown look no further. CBS is airing a new, one-hour animated movie, Michael Jackson’s Halloween. It’s about two young people, Vincent (Lucas Till, MacGyver) and Victoria (Kiersey Clemons, Extant) who accidentally meet on Halloween night. They find themselves at the mysterious This Place Hotel and meet a number of strange characters including the groundskeeper at the hotel, Hay Man.
Hay Man is voiced by actor Jim Parsons who is best known for his role as scientist Sheldon Cooper on CBS’s number one sitcom The Big Bang Theory. And he’s also now known for the The Big Bang Theory spinoff series Young Sheldon, where his voice guides the action. Forbes ranks Parsons as the world’s highest paid actor on TV based on the $27.5 million he was paid in 2016. The Hay Man — that is, Jim Parsons — is also a big fan of the late Michael Jackson’s music. But hey, who isn’t? Mr. Parsons, despite his pretty terrific financial year in 2016, will have a long way to go before he catches up with Michael Jackson in the loot department. Forbes reports that the Jackson estate earned $825 million in 2016. Michael Jackson’s Halloween airs Friday, October 27 at 8pm on CBS.
