In the Blue Bloods episode “The Forgotten,” there are three story-lines. Detective team Danny (Donnie Wahlberg) and Baez (Marisa Ramirez) investigate the murder of a single mother whose ex-husband has a history of violence. Officer Jamie Reagan (Will Estes) tries to save a young woman who overdosed on drugs. And police commissioner Frank Reagan (Tom Selleck) has to deal with the aftermath of Mayor Dutton (Lorraine Bracco) eliminating solitary confinement in prisons. Police press secretary Garrett (Gregory Jbara) calls the Mayor’s office and tells her press secretary Carlton Miller what he thinks about the situation.

Carlton is portrayed by Mark Linn-Baker. The veteran actor is known for his roles on The Leftovers (Mark Linn-Baker), The Good Wife (Judge Don Linden), The Electric Company (Sigmund Scrambler), Twins (Alan Arnold), and last but not least Perfect Strangers (Larry Appleton), among others. Fun fact: Linn-Baker made his acting debut in the 1979 Woody Allen film Manhattan as a Shakespearean actor. Blue Bloods airs Fridays at 10pm on CBS.
