On the third and final round of The Battles on The Voice, Season 13, 24-year-old coach Miley Cyrus will have a difficult decision to make after 16-year-old Addison Agen and 20-year-old Karli Webster sing a slow, country version of Cyndi Lauper’s hit song “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun.” While Karli has a very very high range, Addison likes to “sink into the deep stuff.”

Karli comes from a family of people who appreciate music. Her mom named Karli after singer Carly Simon (Karli sang Simon’s “You’re So Vain” for her Blind Audition on The Voice.) And Karli’s father was in a bunch of heavy metal Christian bands. Karli says in the interview below: “I was raised listening to his crazy high-pitched voice which was all over the house. And I would just joined in with him.” She adds: “I definitely got that voice from my dad.” Karli’s close relationship with her father is just one more thing she has in common with her coach Miley Cyrus, who invited her dad Billy Ray Cyrus as a guest coach this season. The Voice airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8pm on NBC.
