In the Season 14 premiere of Grey’s Anatomy, “Break Down the House; Get Off on the Pain,” while Dr. Miranda Bailey (Chandra Wilson) works to rebuild Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital after the fire, Dr. Owen Hunt’s (Kevin McKidd) younger sister, Dr. Megan Hunt, reappears (she was missing for ten years!) and receives help from Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) and the team.

Megan Hunt was portrayed by Bridget Regan (The Last Ship, Jane the Virgin). For Season 14, actress Abigail Spencer steps into the role. Spencer known for her roles on Timeless (Lucy Preston), Suits (Dana Scott), Rectify (Amantha Holden, see link above), True Detective (Gena Brune), Hawthorne (Dr. Erin Jameson), Mad Men (Suzanne Farrell), and All My Children (Becca Tyree), among others. Spencer will appear next on the big screen in the star-studded The Heyday of the Insensitive Bastards based on Robert Boswell’s stories. Grey’s Anatomy airs Thursdays at 8pm on ABC.
