In the Season 5 premiere of The Blacklist, “Smokey Putnam,” while Red (James Spader) enlists Liz (Megan Boone) to help him deliver new Blacklister Joe “Smokey” Putnum (Michael Aronov) to the Task Force, agent Donald Ressler (Diego Klattenhoff) finds himself in a precarious position. He has an awkward conversation in a laundry room with Henry Prescott, the handsome and charming fixer who Red said last season “knows how to bury problems.”

Prescott is portrayed by James Carpinello. He’s known for his roles on Gotham (Mario Falcone), Person of Interest (Joey Durban), The Mob Doctor (Leoni Franco), The Good Wife (Detective Anthony Burton), and in the films Gangster Squad (Johnny Stomp) and The Punisher (Bobby Saint), among others. Fun fact about Carpinello: He made his debut on Felicity in 2000 as Randy. The Blacklist airs Wednesdays at 8pm on NBC.
