American Beauty Star is a new reality TV show on Lifetime that stars Brazilian supermodel Adriana Lima and celebrity makeup artist Sir John. They challenge 12 hair and makeup artists in a competition to become the first “American Beauty Star.” Lima, 36, is best known as a Victoria’s Secret Angel (since 1999), a Maybelline spokesmodel, and for her appearances in Kia Super Bowl commercials. In 2016, she was the second highest paid model in the world ($10.5 million in earnings).
Lima married Serbian NBA basketball player Marko Jarić in 2009. They separated after five years of marriage in 2014. In March 2016, their divorce was finalized. They have two children together, two daughters (Sienna and Valentina). American Beauty Star airs Thursdays at 9:30pm on Lifetime.
