32-year-old science guy Nick Uhas is blowing away the judges on America’s Got Talent, Season 12. Or at least Nick gave the judges plenty to blow on — and out — in his first trip to the big stage. Uhas is a YouTube sensation, giving science its propers as sheer entertainment. And when the AGT judges trust Nick enough to suck gas from the balloons he offers them, hilarity and some serious James Earl Jones Darth Vader action ensues. All the judges — Howie Mandel, Mel B, Heidi and Simon Cowell — got in on the gas act. Instead of helium, which raises your voice to a squeak, Nick passed out sulfur hexafluoride in his balloons. No one even asked if it was safe before inhaling — that’s showbiz! America’s Got Talent airs Tuesdays at 8pm on NBC.
