Jay Jay Phillips is the rock and roll keyboardist from Ohio competing on America’s Got Talent, Season 12. He’s got the big hair like Guns N’ Roses lead guitarist Slash and fancies tight velvet jackets and torn pants. And yes, Phillips can shred his keyboard like a guitar.
When not playing covers like Rick James’ Super Freak at home in front of the TV (see video below), Phillips can be seen and heard playing with the metal band Hysteria which, according to its Facebook page, is “working on new material to blast in your face!” America’s Got Talent airs Tuesdays at 8pm on NBC.
