On the May 5 episode of The Toy Box, a woman named Kim Peeler from Los Angeles, California will pitch Wiggies, an adorable line of dolls with interchangeable hair. Searching for Wiggies Dolls online doesn’t turn up Kim’s product — yet! — but it does direct a lot of traffic to The Wiggles dolls. Remember that Australian children’s band from the 1990s? So there’s a lot of room in the search engine world for Kim and Wiggies to carve out their space.
If you’re looking for interchangeable hair for your Barbie or American Girl dolls now, you’re in luck. There are websites that sell doll wigs and extensions including Amazon (see above). If the kid judges agree, maybe soon Wiggies dolls will be a Toys R Us selection. The Toy Box airs Fridays at 8pm on ABC, right before Shark Tank.
