In the second season of The Real Housewives of Potomac, viewers meet new ‘wife Monique Samuels. She is married to former NFL football player Chris Samuels who played for the Washington Redskins for ten years (2000-2009). Prior to the NFL, Samuels played college football for the University of Alabama (he’s from Mobile, AL) Crimson Tide where he was a consensus All-American, and was selected third overall in the 2000 NFL Draft. Chris Samuels is 6’5” and listed as 314 lbs.
Chris and Monique (née Cox) married in 2012. They are the happy parents of two toddlers, a boy and a girl (see photo below). She manages his business which includes CRS Real Estate, Chris Samuels Enterprises, and the Chris Samuels Foundation. The Real Housewives of Potomac airs Sundays at 9pm on Bravo.
