In the Blue Bloods episode ‘Love Lost’, while NYPD detective Danny Reagan (Donnie Wahlberg) investigates the husband of a woman who was murdered, his sister A.D.A. Erin Reagan (Bridget Moynahan) is trying to convict a murderer in court. The problem for Erin? Opposing counsel is her ex-husband Jack Boyle. As Erin says, “Jack can talk the green off a leaf.” He’s moved on — and he’s dating his co-counsel who’s a smoking hot 25-year-old. Erin has not moved on.
Jack Boyle is portrayed by Peter Hermann. He is known for his roles on Younger (Charles Brooks), Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (attorney Trevor Langan), Cashmere Mafia (Davis Draper), and Guiding Light (Dr. Michael Burke), among others. Fun fact: Hermann is married to Law & Order star Mariska Hargitay (they met on the set). They have three children. Blue Bloods airs Fridays at 10pm on CBS.
