In the Teen Mom 2 episode ‘I Don’t Wanna Talk About It’, while Chelsea Houska celebrates her daughter Aubree’s birthday (she’s 7!), Jenelle Evans is planning a trip to New York City for business. (She says a man from the United Kingdom wants to meet her about endorsing a product.) Jenelle wants to bring her son Jace with her but she needs her mother Barbara’s permission. When Jenelle calls Babs and tells her her idea — to pull Jace out of school three hours early on a Friday, Barbara says, “He can’t miss school.” If you think Jenelle is going to be okay with the response, you’ve never watched the show.
While Jenelle goes off on her mother for ruining her plan, Barbara says she just doesn’t understand why Jenelle couldn’t plan this trip (better) in advance. Teen Mom 2 airs Mondays at 9pm on MTV.
