On Teen Mom 2, while Kailyn and Javi continue to argue over custody of their son Lincoln (who gets to have him for Christmas is the latest debate), Jenelle’s mother Barb talks about her custody battle with Jenelle over Jace. When Teen Mom 2 co-producer Kristen asks Barb how the deposition went, Barb says, “I feel kind of numb over it.” Barb says she wasn’t asked as many questions as Jenelle, who was asked about her other kids (Jenelle is pregnant again), her fiance David, and her house. Not much has changed in Barb’s life. Barb tells Kristen, “I’m worried about her [Jenelle’s] future.”
Barbara reminds Kristen that although Jenelle graduated from college (on the Dean’s List) she’s not pursuing anything professionally outside of the show. “If this show is all gone tomorrow,” says Barb, “How is she going to afford that big fancy house.”

Barb adds about the custody battle, “If it doesn’t go her [Jenelle’s} way, she’s going to be devastated. And if it doesn’t go my way, Jace is going to be devastated.” Kristen reminds Barb that she once said if Jenelle got off drugs and went to school, Barb would give Jace back. “I said, if she got her life together.” Barb doesn’t think Jenelle “is there yet.” Kristen also reminds Barb that judges tend to want to return children to their biological mothers. “I really don’t want to think about that,” says Barb. Teen Mom 2 airs Mondays at 9pm on MTV.
