In the Superstore episode ‘Rebranding,’ Jeff (Michael Bunin) tells the Cloud 9 employees that the store is part of the store-wide rebranding. One of the vice presidents from corporate, Rex, is coming to the store to walk them through the rollout. Amy (America Ferrera) and Garrett (Colton Dunn) are tickled pink when they discover that Rex has dirt on Jonah (Ben Feldman).
Rex is portrayed by Ravi Patel. He’s known for his roles on Grandfathered with John Stamos (Ravi), The New Normal (Amir), and Easy Money with Laurie Metcalf, among others. Patel is also recognized for his role as the telephone operator in the 2007 film Transformers. Superstore airs Thursdays at 8pm on NBC.
