In the Dr. Ken episode ‘Ken’s New Intern,’ while Damona’s boyfriend (Jerry Minor) finds out about her past with the 1990s band C+C Music Factory, Ken (Ken Jeong) welcomes his new intern Erin Simpson at Welltopia Medical Center. Ken’s wife Allison (Suzy Nakamura) is concerned about the young, attractive intern’s admiration for Ken which could be interpreted as flirtation.
Erin is portrayed by Gillian Jacobs. She’s known for her roles on Judd Apatow’s romcom series on Netflix Love (Mickey Dobbs), Community with Ken Jeong (Britta Perry / Buzzkill), Girls (Mimi-Rose Howard), and The Book of Daniel (Adele Congreve), among others. Jacobs is also recognized for her roles in the films The Box (Dana) with Cameron Diaz and Walk of Shame (Rose) with Elizabeth Banks. Dr. Ken airs Fridays at 8:30pm on ABC.
