In the Hallmark movie Love on Ice, former figure skating champion Emily James gets a second chance at the age of 27 to reclaim glory on the ice. She is rediscovered by a young, handsome coach named Spencer Patterson (Andrew Walker) who tells her convincingly, “You belong on that ice.” And it’s on the ice where they fall in love. “There’s no place I rather be,” Emily says.
Emily James is portrayed by Julie Berman. She’s known for her roles on Casual (Leia), Chicago Med (Dr. Sam Zanetti), General Hospital (Lulu Spencer, daughter of Luke and Laura!) and 7th Heaven (Shelby Connor), among others. James most recently appeared in Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life (Serena Ainsworth). Love on Ice premieres Saturday, January 7 at 9pm on Hallmark. It will air again on Jan 8 at 5pm, Jan 14 at 7pm, Jan 15 at 1pm, Jan 21 at 5pm, Jan 31 at 8pm, Feb 11 at 3pm and Feb 26 at 5pm.
