In the Little Women: Atlanta episode ‘Masquerade Ballers’, while Monie invites the ladies to a masquerade ball for charity, Minnie tells her new man that he needs to meet her mother and best friend, Tammie. As Minnie and Tammie approach the restaurant where they’re to meet Minnie’s man, Minnie asks her mother, “Please don’t embarrass me.” At the restaurant, everything seems to go okay (he pulls out Tammie’s chair for her) but then Tammie lays into him. When she asks “Have you ever dated a little person?”– he stammers.
When a sneak peek of the meeting was shared on Facebook with the caption: “Does momma approve?”, one fan wrote: “Well, mama approves of all Minnie’s lies, so who cares?” The comment was liked more than 193 times. Little Women: Atlanta airs Wednesdays at 9pm on Lifetime.
