Speaker of the House Paul Ryan said he hopes President-elect Trump will soon “get up to speed on what’s been happening.” In a radio interview with Hugh Hewitt, Ryan implied that Julian Assange — the Wikileaks honcho — is not a source the American President-elect can reliably (and favorably) cite against US intelligence agencies.
“He leaks, he steals data and compromises national security,” Ryan said of Assange, whom he also called a Russian sycophant. Most US intelligence believes that Russians hacked computers in order to affect the outcome of the US election, an assertion that Trump, the election winner, has been reluctant to embrace. The US has already acted on the intelligence and expelled dozens of Russian diplomats.
Julian Assange said “a 14 year old could have hacked Podesta” – why was DNC so careless? Also said Russians did not give him the info!
