Late night TV show host Jimmy Kimmel is the creator behind ABC’s new game show, Big Fan. He got the idea from a popular segment on his show Jimmy Kimmel Live called Who Knows…? The idea is for three regular people to be quizzed about a celebrity of whom they’re a big fan, and then get the answers from the celebrity sitting in front of them. The one contestant who knows the most wins the title of #1 Big Fan. The first two episodes of Big Fan feature Academy Award-winning actor Matthew McConaughey (Dallas Buyers Club) and NFL quarterback Aaron Rodgers of the Green Bay Packers. McConaughey and Rodgers both have more than 2 million followers on Twitter. That’s a lot of fans but wait until ABC tries to find the Biggest Fan of Kim Kardashian.
That’s right, Kim Kardashian will be the subject of the third episode of Big Fan. She has more than 49 million followers on Twitter. Andy Richter hosts. Big Fan premieres Monday, January 9 at 10pm and 10:30pm on ABC.
