In the Pure Genius episode ‘Grace’, while Dr. Walter Wallace (Dermot Mulroney) treats his daughter Jess’ (Taylor Rose) best friend who’s contracted a flesh-eating bacteria, Bunker Hill medical daredevil James Bell (Augustus Prew) decides to try a radical treatment on a young man with a drug-resistant strain of HIV. Also on the job, Bell meets Louis Keating’s (Cullen Douglas) nurse Nina. (Bell and Keating suffer from the same ailment.)
Nurse Nina is portrayed by Alexis Krause Di Salvo. She’s known for her role as Mandy the Ex-Girlfriend on Secret Girlfriend. Krause has also appeared on episodes of CSI, The Millers, Two and a Half Men, Rules of Engagement, How I Met Your Mother (Carol, Ted’s ex-girlfriend), Ugly Betty, and ER, among others. Pure Genius airs Sundays at 9:30pm on CBS.
