Actress Danica McKellar (Winnie from The Wonder Years) reprises her role as Ellen Plainview. In the 2013 Lifetime movie The Wrong Woman, she was the wrong woman accused of a violent crime. In the sequel, Mommy, I Didn’t Do It, it’s Ellen’s 17-year-old daughter Julie (Paige Searcy) who is arrested for first-degree murder. Julie’s teacher Mr. Dutton was stabbed to death in his car and Detective Hamer says he found Julie’s fingerprints all over the crime scene.
Hamer is portrayed by Jaleel White. He’s best known for his role as Steve Urkel on Family Matters. Since then he’s appeared on several TV shows including Grown Ups (J. Calvin Frazier), Boston Legal, Fake It Til You Make It (Reggie Culkin), and Hawaii Five-0, among others. Mommy, I Didn’t Do It premieres on Lifetime on Sunday, January 1 at 8pm.
