How times change: Mitt Romney, who called President-elect Donald Trump a “con man” and a “fraud” met with Trump for dinner at a very expensive Manhattan restaurant last week in one of Trump’s hotels. Trump was gracious enough — there’s really no other word — to allow Romney to order the lamb chops when, of course, Romney should have been made to eat crow. Trump’s forgive and forget tour continues this week as he nominates former GOP rival Ben Carson for Secretary of Housing and Urban Development.
A year ago, Carson was caught reportedly fabricating details about his education — Carson apparently wasn’t offered, as he had long claimed, a scholarship to West Point. Trump leapt on the report, writing “WOW, of the many lies of Ben Carson! Big story.” Then Trump retweeted a follower with this to say about Carson: “How anyone could see him as president baffles me. Lies and insane theories.”
“@Robostop10: @realDonaldTrump This is not good. https://t.co/lvv0MRfgtH” WOW, one of many lies by Ben Carson! Big story.
