Mitt Romney ripped candidate Donald Trump every chance he got, calling him a “fraud” and a “con man” among other things. He sounded like a man of conviction. But Romney says different things about President-elect Trump. After eating lamb chops and frog legs with Trump at a 3-star restaurant in one of Trump’s luxury hotels, Romney said he believed that the former “con man” could bring the “nation together.” (Trump, Reince Priebus and Romney dined at Jean-Georges, where “young garlic soup with thyme and sauteed frog legs” began the meal.)
Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich is now ripping Romney the way Romney ripped Trump. “You have never, ever in your career seen a wealthy adult who is independent, has been a presidential candidate, suck up at the rate that Mitt Romney is sucking up,” the former Speaker of the House told Laura Ingraham on her radio show.
