In The Goldbergs episode ‘The Greatest Musical Ever Written’, when Barry (Troy Gentile) discovers that Adam (Sean Giambrone) gets to kiss Lainey (AJ Michalka) in the school musical, guess who tries to sabotage the big production? For the musical, Miss Cinoman returns on organ. (Last time we saw Miss Cinoman, Beverly asked Miss Cinoman to let Adam lip sync in the school musical.)
Miss Cinoman is portrayed by Ana Gasteyer. She’s known for her years on Saturday Night Live (1996-2012) including her singing skit with Will Ferrell as high school music teachers Marty & Bobbi Culp. Since SNL, Gasteyer has had recurring roles on Suburgatory (Sheila Shay) and The Good Wife (Judge Patrice Lessner), among others. Gasteyer is also recognized for her roles in the films Mean Girls and What Women Want. The Goldbergs airs Wednesdays at 8pm on ABC.
