In the 2 Broke Girls episode ‘And the Rom-Commie’, while Max (Kat Dennings) decides whether or not she’s going to take her texting relationship with long-distance boyfriend Randy (Ed Quinn) to the next level, Earl (Garrett Morris) worries about keeping up with his long-lost girlfriend Pilar, who’s in town visiting from Cuba.
Pilar is portrayed by Telma Hopkins. She’s known for her roles on Half & Half (Phyllis), The Hughleys (Paulette), Family Matters (Rachel Crawford), Getting By (Dolores Dixon), Gimme a Break! (Nell’s friend Addy), and Bosom Buddies with cross-dressing Tom Hanks and Peter Scolari (Isabelle Hammond), among many others. 2 Broke Girls airs Mondays at 9pm on CBS.
