In the Speechless episode ‘R-A-Y-C– RAY-CATION’, while Ray (Mason Cook) tries to get the DiMeo family to practice getting to school on time, his mother Maya (Minnie Driver) tries to get JJ (Micah Fowler) to woo a girl at school. But Maya’s plan backfires when JJ tells gymnast Claire he likes her and she doesn’t reciprocate.
Claire is portrayed by McKaley Miller. The 20-year-old is known for her roles on Scream Queens (Sophia Doyle), Hart of Dixie (Rose Hattenbarger), Partners with Kelsey Grammer and Martin Lawrence, MTV’s Awkward. (Bailey Parker), Wizards of Waverly Place (Talia), and The Gates (Dana Monohan), among others. Speechless airs Wednesdays at 8:30pm on ABC.
