On The Voice, during the Top 12 rehearsals, Billy is approached by the best-selling solo artist of all time, Garth Brooks. The 7-time Diamond Award winner and 5-time Entertainer of the Year Brooks puts his shoulder on Gilman’s and says: “The best compliment a singer can give another compliment is – ‘I wish I could sing like that’.” Billy shyly says, “no, no” but his coach Adam Levine agreed and says, ‘I do too.” The Voice airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8pm on NBC.
