Halloween is a time for spooky hi-jinks, and an Irish TV station pulled off a brilliant prank on viewers when a weather presenter appeared to be struck by lightning on live television. Caitlín Nic Aoidh was presenting her forecast on TG4, Ireland’s national Irish-language station, when a bolt of lightning caused her to disappear. The clip (see below) of the incident has gone viral.
TG4 has kept the gag going by insisting it wasn’t a prank at all and that the TV station doesn’t know where she is. The hashtag #cábhfuilcaitlín
