Rudy Giuliani might not make such a good FBI man. Keeping your mouth shut is part of the job with the Bureau. But after coyly dropping hints for days that he and the Trump camp were privy to the FBI’s plans, Giuliani got so excited during an interview on Fox & Friends that he just blurted out that he had prior knowledge that the FBI planned to hit the Clinton campaign with Comey’s pre-election letter about potential new evidence in the Clinton’s email case. Giuliani tried to just hint, but finally he just couldn’t keep it in.
In a scene reminiscent of the Tom Cruise-Jack Nicholson showdown in the movie A Few Good Men, Giuliani eerily echoed Nicholson’s Colonel Nathan Jessup as he admitted having ordered the controversial “Code Red” at issue in the film’s court martial trial. Of course there was no bad ass Tom Cruise character challenging Giuliani — he queried himself.
Giuliani: “Did I hear about it? You’re darn right I heard about it.”
Cruise: “Did you order the Code Red?” Nicholson: “You’re goddamn right I did.”
