In the Married to Medicine episode ‘Her Father’s Daughter’, while Simone continues to search for her missing father, the friendship between Toya and Lisa Nicole begins to break. Lisa Nicole (who’s in her mid 40s) has announced that she wants a baby with her husband Darren. Toya (and others including Heavenly) say Lisa is too old and remind her that just last season Lisa said she wasn’t sure if she trusted her husband.
When Lisa hears from Toya that Darren might have said something to the other husbands about not wanting a baby, Lisa asks Darren point blank, “Do you want a baby?” He says yes. And then Darren explains that they’re at an age where if they didn’t want a baby the woman would have a hysterectomy or the man would have a vasectomy. “So the fact that we haven’t done any of that — we’re still having sex, I’m not pulling out – is enough to tell people ‘hey you know, maybe they want to have a baby.’” Married to Medicine airs Sundays at 9pm on Bravo.
