In the Season 4 premiere episode of Mom, ‘High-Tops and Brown Jacket’, while Adam (William Fichtner) moves in with Bonnie (Allison Janney), Jill (Jaime Pressly) takes Christy (Anna Faris) to a special AA meeting. It’s where all the hot guys go. Christy introduces herself as Christy, an alcoholic and a Capricorn but trying to meet men with Jill might not be the best idea. At the meeting, they meet Derek.
Derek is portrayed by Chris McKenna. He’s known for his roles on Grimm (Lt. Grossante), The Young and the Restless (Det. Mark Harding), State of Affairs with Katherine Heigl (Nick Vera), 90210 (Patrick Westhill), and One Life to Live (Rev. Joseph “Joey” Frances Buchanan), among others. Mom airs Thursdays at 9pm on CBS.
