The cop drama Rosewood got a second chance with a second season. In the Season 2 premiere, a new (sexy and mysterious) captain named Ryan Slade takes over the police department. Right away he makes everything a little more difficult because he’s hard to read. When he meets Rosewood (Morris Chestnut), the captain is all smiles and says “I’m a big fan.” When they shake he adds, “Because I hate rules too.” He adds an interesting dynamic in the precinct.
Captain Ryan Slade is portrayed by Eddie Cibrian. He’s known for his roles on Baby Daddy (Ross Goodson), Hot in Cleveland (Sean), Tyler Perry’s For Better or Worse (Chris), The Playboy Club (Nick Dalton), CSI: Miami (Jesse Cardoza), Ugly Betty (Coach Diaz), Third Watch (Jimmy Doherty), and Sunset Beach (Cole Deschanel), among others. He is married to country singer LeAnn Rimes. They had their own reality TV show on VH1, LeAnn & Eddie. (His first wife is former Real Housewives of Orange County star Brandi Glanville.) Rosewood airs Thursdays at 8pm on FOX.
