In the black-ish episode ‘God’, when Dre (Anthony Anderson) discovers that his daughter Zoey (Yara Shahidi) is questioning her faith and belief in God, Dre turns to his coworkers for advice. On top of that, Dre has to deal with the arrival of his pampered brother-in-law Jonah who’s been living abroad. P.S. Jonah does not believe in God.
Bow’s (Tracee Ellis Ross) brother is portrayed by actor/rapper Daveed Diggs. He’s known for his role as Marquis de Layette/Thomas Jefferson in the Broadway hit Hamilton. The role won him a Grammy Award and a Tony Award in 2016. Diggs is currently filming Wonder with Julia Roberts and Owen Wilson. Wonder is based on the popular YA novel by R. J. Palacio. black-ish airs Wednesdays at 9:30pm on ABC.
