One of the opening week games of the NFL season, Pittsburgh Steelers at Washington Redskins, will be televised on Monday, September 12 (6:55pm, ESPN). The Redskins have their eyes on the prize – to become the NFC East’s first repeat champion since the Philadelphia Eagles (2001-04). The Redskins are counting on their new cornerback Josh Norman to help them reach their goal. The Coastal Carolina grad was selected by the Carolina Panthers in the 2012 NFL Draft. Two days after he was released by the Panthers in April 2016, Norman signed a five-year, $75 million contract with the Washington Redskins, making him the highest paid cornerback in NFL history.

One day before the big game, Norman posted a photo of a pair of Yeezy Boost 350 silver cleats with the caption: “Yeezy, yeezy, yeezy, yeezy..Guess The Game will Never be the same 1-of-a few Ever made in the World.” Yeezy refers to rapper Kanye West, who also designs for Adidas. At the game, Norman will face Antonio Brown who might have received a pair too. So far, it’s been confirmed that West sent pairs of the cleats to Minnesota Vikings’ Adrian Peterson, Buffalo Bills’ Sammy Watkins and Houston Texans DeAndre Hopkins.
