Billionaire NBA owner and tech entrepreneur Mark Cuban has offered to donate $10 million to the charity of Donald Trump’s choice if the candidate will let Cuban interview him about his policies. Cuban has been a vocal critic of Trump, calling the GOP topper a danger to the country because of, among other things, Trump’s reactionary temperament and his technology illiteracy. (Cuban strongly believes a modern leader needs to grasp today’s world-changing technologies.)
.1) @realDonaldTrump $10mm to the charity of YOUR choice if you let ME interview you for 4 hrs on YOUR policies and their substance.

Other billionaires have offered Trump deals in public — Warren Buffett wants to play a game of “Show me yours, I’ll show you mine” with Trump’s taxes. But Cuban has put an element in his offer that shows his savvy penchant for strategic thinking. While his offer emphasizes the $10 million and the fact that he wants only to talk about “YOUR policies and their substance,” the real hook — the killer app of the offer, in techspeak — is the FOUR hour time frame. By choosing the long format, Cuban could expose Trump’s impatience and inability to focus, weaknesses that Trump’s ghostwriter Tony Schwartz has said are his most egregious flaws. Schwartz has said Trump “has the attention span of a 9-year-old with ADHD.” Cuban has done his Trump research, and knows this. Trump’s supporters may not be surprised to discover he’s no policy expert. But if Trump takes Cuban’s bait they might be shocked to learn that he can’t stay with the conversation. Four hours is a long time. Cuban didn’t choose it by accident.
