In the Lifetime TV movie Perfect Sisters, two teenage girls are fed up with their mother who abuses drugs and keeps getting involved with abusive men. So they plot to kill their “perfect mom” Linda (Mira Sorvino). The story is a true-crime thriller; based on the book The Class Project: How to Kill a Mother: The Story of Canada’s Infamous Bathtub Girls written by Bob Mitchell.
Sister Sandra Anderson is portrayed by Abigail Breslin. She’s known for her roles on Scream Queens (Chanel #5), and in the films August: Osage County (Jean Fordham), Definitely, Maybe (Ryan Reynolds’ daughter Maya), Little Miss Sunshine (Olive Hoover), Raising Helen (Sarah Davis), and Signs (Bo Hess), among others. Perfect Sisters will air on Saturday, August 13 at 8pm on Lifetime.
