On The Rap Game episode ‘Stand Out or Sit Down,’ Jermaine Dupri brings in famed hip hop dancers, Les Twins, to teach his rappers how to dance for their first feature in a music video, “We Are Toonz.” As Dupri tells the kids, “It’s turn up time. It’s time for you to act like you want to win.”
Les Twins is composed of real life 27-year-old identical twins, Larry and Laurent Bourgeois. They were born in France and are self-taught. They got their first taste of fame on the popular French TV talent show Incroyable Talent where they made it to the finals in 2008. Americans took notice of Les Twins when a video of them at the 2010 World of Dance tour went viral on YouTube (see below). In addition to dancing with Beyonce (Run the World [Girls], End of Time, Blow, Jealous, Flawless), they’ve also worked with Meghan Trainor (Lips Are Movin’), and Missy Elliott (WTF [Where They From]), among others. Fun fact: Larry and Laurent are 2 of 9 children – and there’s another set of twins! The Rap Game airs Fridays at 10pm on Lifetime.
