On the Return to Amish episode ‘The Announcement,’ while Mary Schmucker considers her next steps after being banished, and Abe and Rebecca Schmucker make a decision about Abe’s teeth which need $20,000 worth of work, Sabrina Hill gets a makeover. Kate Stoltz takes her to a salon to get her hair cut and makeup done.
Ever since Sabrina has been clean of heroin, she’s been focused on getting custody of her daughter Oakley back. When the makeover is done, Kate tells Sabrina, “You look beautiful.” Sabrina says “I think it’s great but I felt guilty because I felt like I should have been doing something for Oakley instead of for myself.” Even when the producer tells Sabrina, “you deserve this, you know?” She says, trying to hold back her tears, “I don’t, I don’t think it’s important right now. It’s not important until I get her back.” Return to Amish airs Sundays at 9pm on TLC.
