Feuds are good media fodder. Throw a rap beef out there or a Kanye West-Taylor Swift tiff, and people eat it up. We want behind-the-scenes — that’s what drives Reality TV and what Howard Stern always delivers. So with actor Jonah Hill on the Stern show, Stern asked the question: Do Hill and War Dogs co-star Miles Teller hate each other or what? Because that’s the word on Stern’s street. Rumors like that are pretty good for ticket sales, too.
But Hill is apparently trying to sell tickets the old-fashioned way. He wouldn’t cop to Stern about any Teller hatin’, saying the rumor simply “not true.” But here are a few ways Hill tried to explain his relationship with Teller, and it comes off like the way you describe that guy you went to school with who was at the same parties you were, but who you really couldn’t stand.
- “I do like Miles. We don’t hang out very much. We live in different cities.”
- He’s “nice.”
- “We never argued about each other’s acting style or anything.”
- We won’t “end up being best friends in the world. But that’s rare.”
