On the Braxton Family Values episode “You Want That Old Thang Back?,” while Tamar Braxton voices her disappointment and disapproval of her sister Trina reaching out to her ex-husband Gabe, Towanda is challenged during an acting class. But it’s worth it. Towanda has landed two acting jobs. In the TV movie The Real Georgia Peaches, Towanda portrays Lisa. It’s set in the 1950s in Atlanta.
Towanda will also appear in the 2017 film The Execution of Nigel Harris, about a once promising hero who returns to his hometown as a sex offender. Towanda plays Nigel Harris’ (Skipper Elekwachi) parole officer Lisa Harrington. The Execution of Nigel Harris will be released February 1, 2017. Braxton Family Values airs Thursdays at 9pm on WEtv.
