At the fourth night of the Republican National Convention in Cleveland, Donald Trump’s daughter Ivanka Trump will introduce her father before he gives his acceptance speech. Ivanka is the last of the Trump children to approach the dais, after her brothers, Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump, and half-sister Tiffany Trump. (Assuming Donald Trump’s 10-year-old son Barron will not make a surprise speech at the RNC.) Ivanka is expected to praise her father and her stepmother Melania.
Ivanka’s mother Ivana Trump (also mother of Donald Jr. and Eric) married Donald Trump in 1977. The former model from the former Czechoslovakia went on to become the Vice President of Interior Design for the Trump Organization; Chief Executive Officer and President of Trump’s Castle Hotel and Casino and later President of the Plaza Hotel. Donald and Ivana divorced in 1992 after it was revealed that Donald Trump was having an affair with Marla Maples (mother of Tiffany Trump) who became Trump’s second wife. As for Donald’s current wife, Ivana told the New York Post that Melania will “be OK” as first lady. She added: “She [Melania] never did anything wrong to me. I wish them all the best.”
