The 2016 US Open leaderboard is looking mighty patriotic on a busy Friday. Six Americans — leader Andrew Landry along with Dustin Johnson, Scott Piercy, Kevin Streelman, Bubba Watson and the amateur Scottie Scheffler — are among the 13 golfers under par at the ferocious Oakmont Golf Club.
Landry currently leads at -4 with Englishman Lee Westwood and Johnson a stroke back. Big international names also under par include Sergio Garcia, Angel Cabrera, Adam Scott, and Henrik Stenson. Due to major weather interruptions on Thursday, the second round will begin at 1:45 Friday with a second wave of players finishing up Round 1 this morning and heading out to start an abbreviated Round 2 after 7pm this evening.
