The U.S. Department of Defense shared a photo of U.S. Navy sailors aboard USS Stockdale. In the photo, a dozen men in blues line up in front of six targets. In the caption, the DoD wrote that the men are taking “aim during a small arms qualification.” One Navy vet, Christopher Thames, left an encouraging comment: “On the aft end of the shift prone on the flight deck conducting targeting drills! I remember those days! #GoNavy.”
The photo also provoked a variety of comments. J Davis wrote: “Landing on a pitching carrier deck is hard – is qualifying expert on a pitching deck also hard? Go Army – Beat Navy.” And Team Action Pop wrote: “GOD bless you ALL!! You’re ALL studs!!”
