In the TV movie Running For Her Life, amateur runner Alison Wynn (Claire Forlani) becomes a client of triathlete trainer Dr. Laura Stevens. Dr. Stevens is known for her extreme practices — for pushing her clients physically and emotionally. When she finds a client’s emotional sore spot, she keeps hitting it and Alison is no exception. In the manipulative care of Dr. Stevens, Alison jeopardizes her marriage and relationship with her daughter Kayla, among other things.

The Canadian actress is known for her roles on Saving Hope (Dr. Dawn Bell), Lost Girl (Freyja), Republic of Doyle (Allison Jenkins), Nikita (President Kathleen Spencer), Covert Affairs (Megan Carr), Numb3rs (AUSA Robin Brooks), and Crossing Jordan (Dr. Amy Bowen), among others.
