In the Gotham Season 2 finale episode “Wrath of the Villains: Transference,” while the inmates at Arkham Asylum plot their escape, Hugo Strange (B.D. Wong) gets Detective Jim Gordon (Ben McKenzie) to reveal his deepest, darkest secrets and emotions (guilt about the deaths of his father and child rise to the surface). Strange is working at the behest of The White-Haired Woman who wears an owl mask and communicates with Strange via video.
The White-Haired Woman is portrayed by Kit Flanagan. She’s known for playing judges on Daredevil, Made In Jersey (Judge Ryner), One Life to Live (Judge Denise Shriver), Guiding Light (Judge Margaret Ellis), Conviction (Judge Ciciy Barnes), and Law & Order (Judge Evelyn Greico), among others. Flanagan is also recognized for her role in the 2011 film Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close (Cassidy Black). Gotham airs Mondays at 8pm on FOX.
