On the Bar Rescue episode “We’re Gonna Need a Bigger Boat,” Jon Taffer travels to The Bridge Lounge in Tarpon Springs, Florida. He does his usual recon work from his SUV. Taffer is joined by the co-owner of the fisherman’s bar Anna Cladakis and her fiance, PGA professional golfer John Daly. Cladakis and her brother Manny have been struggling to keep the bar afloat after losing their father Bill Cladakis who was the original owner. Anna reveals to Taffer that they’re losing roughly $4000 a month. “It’s a money pit right now,” says Daly.
That said, Daly is optimistic. He tells Taffer: “It’s a great little piece of property, so we got to make it work and get everybody on the same page.” Taffer agrees and as part of the makeover, they update the drink menu and include a John Daly (lemonade, iced tea, and flavored vodka). Bar Rescue airs Sundays at 9pm on Spike.
